Luna stood in the center of her new common room looking around. Earlier this summer she had recieved a letter stating her and a few other students would be sharing a dorm to see if Hogwarts should have co-ed dorms. Luna was more than happy to help because she was such in outcast in her house. The common room held colors from all 4 of the houses which made her think that students would be from all 4 houses. Luna didn't mind anyone from the other houses,even the Slytherins, because everyone deserved a chance. Knowing her things were already in ther dorm she went off to find them. Checking each room she could tell each had a boy and girl in it. Luna wondered who she would be staying with.

Reaching the room at the very top of the tower she opened the door and saw her trunks and owl stacked neatly on one side of the room. Her bed was decorated with Ravenclaw colors while the bed across the room had Slytherin colors. Luna was curious to see who it belonged to and let that curiousity get the best of her. Going over she read the name on the trunk:Malfoy.

Draco was furious. Father had a fit about this, but nothing was changed. Sharing a room with a Ravenclaw. What is this school coming to?

He stomped up the steps, looking around for the gargoyle hiding the entrance. He found it, after searching, and said, "Dragon's fluff."

The gargoyle nodded and slid to the side, revealing the door. Draco pushed it open and stepped into the common room, not bothering to look around. He went straight up the stairs and into the room that was his.

Upon entering, he spotted Luny Lovegood.

The opening door behind her caused her to jump. Turning to the door she stepped over to her own bed and looked at Draco. Unlike herself he seemed to be hating the new arrangement. Perphaps its because even thought she is a Pureblood they considered her a blood traitor but Luna couldn't be sure. "Hello Draco."

Draco sneered. "Lovegood."

He turned and went to his bed, sitting heavily on the edge of it.

His tone didn't phase Luna seeing as how most people didnt like her. But still she gave everyone a fair shot. "Excited to be back?"

Draco scoffed. "Hardly. This place has gone to the dogs. Or should I say the mudbloods?"

He watched as Luny nodded, nothing ever seemed to get her.

Luna nodded understanding that while she didn't mind muggle borns some people did. The Malfoys were one of those families that was all about bloodline. "Oh I don't think it has just yet. After all this experiment should be fun."

Draco raised an eyebrow. "Fun?"

Luna looked at Draco hearing other start to come into the rooms and find the rooms. Sitting on her bed cross legged she nodded. "Yes fun. I mean we get to be with other houses and such."

With a roll of his eye, he said, "I was put in Slytherin for a reason. Not to be mixed with other houses. This is such utter..." He trailed off.

He sat, watching as people poked their heads into the room. He hoped there was at least one person he knew in this experiment.

Luna nodded to each person that came in and smiled. Some were younger than her and some were older. It was obvious everyone just wanted to see what kind of people they would be sharing with. When a few Ravenclaws poked thier heads in she could see them scrabble to get away. Luna simply dismissed it because she was so used to it.

"Well looks as though we should make the best of it." With a kind smile she began to unpack and put her things on a dresser next to her bed

Draco scowled and lay back on his bed. He had no idea what to do. He didnt know the password to the Slytherin common room. He'd have to get it from Crabbe or Goyle.

Luna saw Draco's scowl. He assumed the rest of them were happy with this. She wasn't a first but she had learned to accept the fact that she couldn't change this. Luna was one of those people who made them best of things and it was becoming obvious Draco wasn't

Draco knew Luna was watching. He stood up, wandering over to the bathroom.

"We're supposed to share a bathroom?" He scoffed. "Ugh."
