Dalton stood next to her, observing her work as to make sure she didn't mess up. "No, you cannot," he said.

Stopping what she was doing as Snape stood over it he sneered. Looking at the potion he leaned close. "Not bad Ms.Lovegood." He walked away and on to torture the next student

Dalton chuckled slightly at Snape's reaction to her work and crossed his arms.

Luna smirked back up to him. For the first time she was truely noticing how much taller her was than her. "Then what is?"

"His distaste in everyone," Dalton chuckled.

"Oh Professor Snape doesn't hate everyone. I think it's just when someone does good he doesn't know how to thank them." As the bell rang Luna left with a kind smile and skipped off to her next class,transfiguration.

Dalton rolled his eyes. "never said he hated everyone," he mumbled as he walked to his next class.

Sitting down through all her classes Luna paid attention in each one. She needed to in order to pass her O.W.L's and even her N.E.W.T's. Her Ravenclaw side often showed in her studies and how hard she worked

Dalton went to all his classes, paying only enough attention to absorb the information. He wanted nothing more than for it to be night, and him be alone.

As the last class ended and Luna said goodbye to her friend Nevelle she went to the common room and dropped her things off. Once that was done she headed for dinner. No dinner was like those of the feasts they had during the holidays and beginning and ending of the year but the house elves were sure to have something different each night. Food was plenty and appeared after announcements from some teachers and reminders. Settling into her seat she began to eat quietly

Dalton ate his food at the end of a table, trying to stay as small as a six-foot, muscular Russian guy could. He ate his food quickly and cleanly, keeping his eyes on the table.

Luna couldn't help herself as much as she tried. And she was trying. Finally giving in she looked over to the Slytherin table and spied the man she was looking for down at the end of his own table.

Dalton didn't notice Luna, nor he did he feel her eyes on him. He just wanted to finish his meal and leave.

Turning around front she found her plate was empty and she wasn't hungry for more. Standing up she walked from the Great Hall and back to Ravenclaw Common Room. It would be a while until the stars were out and she would use that time to study and do her homework

Dalton finished his food and headed back to his room until later on when everyone was asleep and he would sneak out.

He sighed as he laid on his bed.

Slowly the common room emptied and Luna left to walk down the the grounds. One of the advantages of having a tower and not have a portrait is none of the pictures told on you. And the ones Luna passed knew her well and knew she wasn't up to do anything bad. Creeping through the night she took her usual spot down the at the quidditch pitch

Dalton snuck out once everyone was asleep, walking to the quidditch field and sitting down in the shadows, not noticing Luna a few yards away.

Luna looked up at the stars before hearing him settle a few yards away. Getting up she sat next to him quietly. Digging into the bag she brought with her everywhere Luna brought out a thermos of Hot chocolate. Silently she handed him the cup before getting herself some

Dalton was shocked, but said nothing, taking the hot chocolate and staring across the field. He didn't plan on saying anything.

Sitting in the silence Luna watched the sky sipping on her hot chocolate. The night offered a cool breeze reminding students winter was soon coming. Luna sighed tilting her head to the side.

Dalton felt sort of uncomfortable, but at the same time relaxed, with Luna next to him. He sipped the hot chocolate, barely feeling the breeze that swept through the night.
